Founder and CEO, TrainQuarters, Stephanie Obi has been named as a Beta Gamma Sigma 2021 Entrepreneurial Achievement Award winner.
The Beta Gamma Sigma Entrepreneurial Achievement Award specifically recognises individuals who develop, organise, and enhance successful new ventures.
The information that was made available by Lagos Business School explained that recipients of the award have assumed the risk of starting a business or initiating a new venture/idea within a larger organisation. The intent is to focus on our entrepreneurs as the people who drive innovation, and support for new ideas.
Individuals are nominated by Beta Gamma Sigma chapters and winners are selected based on criteria such as ethical business leadership and values of the Beta Gamma Sigma Society, including honour and integrity, and the pursuit of wisdom, earnestness, and service.
Beta Gamma Sigma is the exclusive business honour society for students enrolled in business and management programmes accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The LBS BGS chapter was established in November 2017.
The Mission of the International Honour Society Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honour academic achievement in the study of business, to cultivate and celebrate leadership and professional excellence, to advance the values of the Society, and to serve its lifelong members.
