Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a major role in most economies, particularly in developing countries. SMEs account for the majority of businesses worldwide and are important contributors to job creation and global economic development. They represent about 90% of businesses and more than 50% of employment worldwide.

Speaking as guest panelist at the PwC webinar tagged ‘Funding My SME’, Takedia Lead Faculty, Prof. Ndubusi Ekekwe explained some professional tips on how SME owners could attract business investors to fund SMEs and expand.

Prof. Ndubusi maintained that some of the potentials that interest investors to fund businesses are sustainable and conceiving business plan ideas pitched by SMEs. Purposeful business plans designate confidence in business owners who are keen to put their best in the success and growth of the business.
