Recently, the human resources don was hosted by a conglomerate establishment in Lagos, Fox Capital Group, where he facilitated an in-house training session for the staff of the company focusing on the theme “Workplace Attitude and Peak Performance for Employees”
In his presentation, Dr. Olumuyiwa explained the concept of attitude, its formation and possible ways people expressed it at the workplace.
He also noted that people’s feeling and thinking process shape their attitudes in either a positive or negative form.

Speaking on the focal points for healthy workplace attitude, Olumuyiwa maintained that vision and mission of the company, its values, products and services, and working environment must be well understood by staff and compelling enough for them to buy the ideas.
Also, the principal consultant stressed that constituting a healthy workplace attitude remain pertinent for staff growth and progress of the company, he further added qualities that staff must inculcate to have a healthy workplace attitude.
“Employees must acknowledge and celebrate the value they bring to the company but must be humble in spite of the value they bring to the table. Identify with others through empathy and sacrifice for the good progress of the team.
On building capacity for employee peak performance, Olumuyiwa charged Fox Capital staff on regular self-development and enjoined them to support and collaborate with fellow colleagues to achieve greater results at work.
“Employers are also to give a direction and required resources that would make employees to deliver their roles and duties. Reward and evaluation are key influence in boosting the morale and creating a healthy workplace among staff.
