Luppon is one of the such brand, – a luxury outerwear collection that has been tested and used by Nigerian R & B singer, Banky W, notable politician, Senator Dino Melaye, Nigerian entrepreneur, Obi Cubana, and exhibited in major events.
Speaking with EnterpriseCEO in an exclusive interview, Luppon’s Co-founder & Chief Marketig Officer, Femi Adegolu revealed the success story behind the fast-rising fashion brand within the short period it was founded, its trends and the future of the brands in coming years.
According to Femi, the Luppon brand is crafted to capture the true essence of modernity and youthful elegance, with the fusion of its iconic logo. It also encapsulates a carefree spirit and brings a premium lifestyle in diverse streets.
“We started the clothing brand in March, 2022 where we launched three different designs. One is a distorted face, the other one is black and CHD green design with flex. We’ve been doing amazing things for the past couple of months.
Commenting on what the brand offers in distinction, Femi, who is also known as JB of Lagos said that the story behind the Luppon is not just to make shirts but to sell quality lifestyle to its customers.
He said, “Luppon is basically a lifestyle, we are selling promise to customers – quality and lifestyle. When you wear Luppon, we believe that it makes you more confident”

“Luppon is creating a premium community for our clientele so when you see anyone wearing one of our designs, you’ll definitely know that the individual is a proud member of our premium community fondly known as “Luppon geng”.
“We are not saying those who haven’t done great things can’t wear Luppon but we just want to stand out, that’s the story we want to tell our customers. We are releasing a new collection of the brand next month”, JB of Lagos said.
Luppon was also part of the fashion A-list brands that were selected for The YD company’s 543 fashion exhibition, a platform to showcase premium lifestyle experiences through Arts, Fashion, Culture, and Bespoke Events.
Meanwhile, comparing the patronage figures from the first time the brand started to the present state, Adegolu said, “I would say we have recorded millions of Naira from our sales and I think we are on the way to greatness. Just last week, we featured as one of the top big stars in Africa and also those are businesses that are verified by the Lagos Business School.
“We are structuring the company, making sure that it’s okay and people are satisfied with our products. People are coming back to get more, saying that it’s a good brand. Word of mouth is a very good strategy for marketing and it’s been helping us.
When asked if he had ever considered leaving the country at a point when he started the business, Adegolu explained that ‘Japa’ traveling abroad hasn’t been in his book as he believes that he will be prosperous in Nigeria.

“I don’t blame most youths; the country is in a very sick state. We have a government that doesn’t put the people first, so going to a country where you feel more secure and where your future is brighter doesn’t seem like a bad idea. As for me, I believe that Luppon will make a good name and a brand that will fly high in Nigeria, Africa and the world as a whole.
Speaking on the future of the brand, he said, “We are working to see Luppon as one of the top three clothing brands in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. I confidently say by this time next year, Luppon will be in full operation in Dubai.
We are working on that already and we have partners in other countries such as Ghana. We are expanding and I believe that the future is bright for Luppon”, he said.
