For its strong commitment to efficient and seamless digital banking, Access Bank Plc has been honoured as the Best Digital Bank in Africa by the Asian Banker.
The announcement that was made at the Asian Banker Middle East and Africa Regional 2020 Awards virtual ceremony has further pushed the financial institution to play among the global banks.
Access Bank over the years has leveraged on advanced analytics, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning and robotics process automation to reform business operations and drive performance.
In his comment, the bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe said that the award recognises the bank’s commitment to bring new innovation to the practice of the efficient banking in the continent.

The Bank’s Executive Director, Information Technology and Operations, Ade Bajomo also added that the peculiarities of the global community have called for more digitally-driven banking services.
